Jose Ramirez Hernandez is an actor and filmmaker native to Los Angeles, California. He has been acting since 2016, thanks to his networking skills while being an UBER driver, which lead to meeting a casting director and his first acting gig. Jose has appeared in the short films No Papers and Rabbit’s Foot. One of his favorite experiences was when he participated for five weeks in Voodoo Macbeth which is a USC School of Cinematic Arts - Master Thesis Film, that was filmed in part inside of Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank, CA.

Voodoo Macbeth showed Jose how a professional film production functions, since many complicated scenes for the film were filmed on the 1930's New York set in the Warner Brothers Studios backlot. The USC production team also filmed on location in Hollywood, CA and other cities in the suburbs of Los Angeles, including San Pedro, CA.
Jose gained a lot of acting experience from theater performances. He acted in the theatrical plays Calaveras vs. Fantasmas and Fue En Un Cabaret at Frida Kahlo Theater in Los Angeles. The Frida Kahlo Theater regularly presents theatrical plays in Spanish as well as in English. Jose additionally worked on many projects with the theater group, Grupo Internacional de Actores Independientes also known as GIDAI Teatro. Since GIDAI Teatro began, their focus has been on public space performances away from an actual brick and mortar theater, in different cities within California and Las Vegas, Nevada. GIDAI Teatro's primary themes are about the Catholic Religion and Mexico's History. Jose acted in some of GIDAI Teatro’s plays, for instance in Estrella de Belen and Mascaras.
Ever since he began acting in 2016 he has always thought about being behind the camera, even though Jose has never had a problem with stage-fright. What fascinates Jose the most about being behind the camera is the ability to have a significant influence in the creation of how a film will actually look as a whole. With GIDAI Teatro he was given an opportunity to film and edit the theatrical plays instead of acting in them. Jose was the cinematographer and video editor of many of GIDAI Teatro’s plays.
GIDAI Teatro's plays that Jose filmed in California and Nevada include, La Pasion de Cristo: Cuaresma 2022, Recordando a Cri-Cri, Las Apariciones de La Virgen de Guadalupe, El Diablo Va a Misa and Cosas de Parejas. Jose also edited all of the video and audio footage for these recordings. The filming process encouraged Jose to start the production company Multiple Pictures. This allowed him to distribute all of the recordings that he filmed for GIDAI Teatro using his new company's name. Jose distributed all the videos through his YouTube channel, which is also named Multiple Pictures.
